We have begun our CURRICULUM FAIR PROJECT. Our topic is NUTRITION. On January 29, 2 Pediatricians from the Cleveland Clinic came to Holy Spirit Academy and shared a one and a half hour seminar with the the 7th and 8th graders about every aspect of Nutrition.
Now it is our turn to look more in-depth on one aspect of nutrition, whether it is about the food groups, obesity, vitamins or sugar, each student will be exploring their topic very closely. Be sure to encourage your son/daughter to comply with the due dates. Each due date has a turn-in of some type of materials for the project.
Our FIRST due date is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10---------PARENT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED ON PARENT INFORMATION LETTER ABOUT THE CURRICULUM FAIR.
Our SECOND due date is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17------ TWENTY NOTE CARDS ARE DUE.

All hardcover text books and workbooks need to be covered. Stretchy jumbo sized book covers work great on the text books and clear contact paper are wonderful for the workbooks.

Each student will be required to use specific colored folders and spiral notebooks for each subject. Please read the list carefully, to be sure that you are buying the proper colors.
